🚀Getting Started
Gran360 is a community-driven safety and awareness platform that enables users to post, view, and engage with reports about scams, incidents (accidents, fires, disasters, assaults, roadblocks, etc.), and missing persons. Our mission is to create a safer Nigeria by empowering communities to share real-time safety information.
You can create an account in three ways: (1) Sign up with your email and create a password, (2) Use Google Sign-In, or (3) Use Apple Sign-In. Simply download the Gran360 mobile app from the App Store or Google Play, tap 'Sign Up,' and follow the prompts. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
Yes! Gran360 offers a free tier with access to basic features including viewing reports, posting reports, one active GeoFence alert, and accessing nearby alerts. We also offer Pro and Elite subscription tiers with enhanced features like multiple GeoFence alerts, priority support, and advanced analytics.
The mobile app provides full functionality - you can create, edit, delete reports, use SOS features, set up GeoFence alerts, and engage with the community. The website offers read-only access, allowing you to view and search public reports but not create or modify content. For the complete Gran360 experience, we recommend using the mobile app.
Location services are optional. You can use Gran360 without location services and still: view global reports, create reports (manually entering location), confirm reports, access Mystery Box, participate in quizzes, and use most platform features. However, without location services, you won't be able to use 'Reports Near Me,' receive 'High Risks Near Me' alerts, or use GeoFence tracking. You can enable/disable location services anytime in your device settings. For GeoFence features specifically, you can choose which contacts can track you and can revoke access at any time.
📝Reports & Content
You can submit three types of reports: (1) Scams - fraud alerts, online scams, fake businesses, (2) Incidents - accidents, fires, disasters, assaults, roadblocks, suspicious activities, (3) Missing Persons - reports of missing individuals with proper authorization. All reports must be truthful and comply with our content standards.
Open the Gran360 app, tap the '+' button, select your report type, fill in the required information (title, description, location), add photos or videos if available, and submit. Your report will be evaluated by our automated system and made public if it meets our guidelines.
No, Gran360 does not manually verify user-submitted reports. Reports are evaluated using automated machine learning systems that assess credibility and risk levels. We rely on the community to flag inaccurate reports and mark helpful ones as 'confirmed.' Always exercise caution and verify information independently before acting on any report.
Yes! You can edit or delete your reports anytime. To edit, tap on your report and select 'Edit.' To delete, tap 'Delete' and confirm. Note that deleted reports are soft-deleted (removed from public view but retained for operational and legal purposes). If you delete your account, your reports remain visible but are attributed to 'Deleted User.'
If community members flag your report for violating guidelines, it will be reviewed. You'll receive a notification if action is taken. You can contest the decision through our dispute mechanism in the app. Repeatedly posting violating content may result in account suspension or termination.
Missing persons reports require special authorization. You must confirm: (1) At least 24 hours have passed (unless immediate danger exists), (2) Law enforcement has been notified, (3) You have permission to share publicly, (4) The person is a minor, vulnerable, or in potential danger. We may request proof of law enforcement involvement. False reports result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.
Yes! Each report has a share button allowing you to share via WhatsApp, SMS, email, or social media. When sharing, encourage others to download Gran360 to stay informed and contribute to community safety.
🛡️Safety Features
The SOS feature sends emergency alerts to your pre-selected contacts with your precise location as a Google Maps link. To use: (1) Set up SOS contacts in Settings, (2) In an emergency, press and hold the SOS button, (3) Alerts are sent immediately via SMS (contacts don't need Gran). The feature works offline when possible. CRITICAL: Always contact local emergency services (police, fire, medical) first in life-threatening situations.
Your SOS contact list and custom messages are stored locally on your device only - NOT on our servers. We never access your contact list. Queued SOS messages are automatically deleted from your device after 14 days. This ensures maximum privacy and security.
GeoFence Alert tracking allows authorized contacts to monitor your journeys between designated locations (e.g., home to school). Only users you've added as GeoFence contacts can create alerts for you, and you must accept each request. You control when tracking is active and can pause/stop anytime. Upon journey completion, a Journey Summary is created showing distance, duration, and speed, and raw location data is immediately deleted - no waiting period. Free users can have one active GeoFence alert at a time. Deleting or blocking a contact immediately terminates all monitoring and automatically removes all associated location data.
Gran360 uses multiple security layers: (1) Every location access is logged with who accessed it, when, and from what IP address. (2) Rate limiting prevents abuse - max 100 location requests per hour per user. (3) Raw location data is immediately deleted after journey completion - no delay. (4) Declined alert requests have all coordinates immediately nullified. (5) Deleting or blocking a contact triggers automatic cascading deletion of all monitoring data. (6) You can request audit logs to see who has accessed your location. (7) Inactive alerts (7+ days) are automatically deleted with all data.
No, GeoFence is designed for battery efficiency. It uses standard precision (not high precision GPS) with timed interval updates rather than continuous tracking. This approach minimizes battery consumption while still providing reliable journey monitoring.
GeoFence uses standard precision location with timed updates for battery efficiency. Accuracy depends on your device GPS, network connectivity, and environmental factors. In open areas, accuracy is typically within 10-20 meters. In urban areas or indoors, accuracy may be reduced. We do not guarantee location accuracy and are not liable for inaccuracies.
Yes! Location sharing is completely optional. Without location services, you can still: view global reports, create reports (by manually entering location), confirm reports, engage with content, access Mystery Box, participate in quizzes, and use most features. However, you won't be able to: see 'Reports Near Me,' receive 'High Risks Near Me' alerts, use SOS location features, or use GeoFence tracking.
These features notify you about incidents in your area. 'High Risks Near Me' uses low-precision location (rounded to 2 decimal places for privacy) to send alerts about high-risk incidents nearby. Your exact location is never stored - only an approximate area. You can enable/disable this in Settings > Notifications and customize alert types and frequency.
🔒Account & Privacy
Yes. We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure password hashing, encryption at rest and in transit, and regular security audits. Your data is stored on secure servers (Vultr and AWS). We never sell your personal information. Read our Privacy Policy for complete details.
Yes! Gran360 maintains comprehensive audit logs for security and transparency. You can request your location access logs by contacting support@rego360.com. The logs show: who accessed your location, when, from what IP address, and which GeoFence alert was accessed. We also log when you delete or block contacts, showing how many alerts were deactivated and how much data was removed. This helps you detect any unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
Yes! You can sign up with any email address, including anonymous or privacy-focused email services. If you sign up with Apple, you can choose 'Hide My Email' to use Apple's private relay email address, keeping your personal email completely hidden from Gran360. This gives you full account functionality while maintaining privacy.
We collect: account information (email, password, optional profile details), report data (content, media, location if enabled), engagement data (reports viewed, bookmarked, confirmed), device information (type, OS, app version), and subscription status. SOS contacts are stored locally on your device, not our servers. GeoFence location data is converted to Journey Summaries and raw data is deleted.
Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. You'll have a 30-day grace period where you can log in to cancel deletion. After 30 days, your personal identifiers are permanently removed. Your reports remain visible but attributed to 'Deleted User' to preserve community safety information. All GeoFence alerts you created or were monitoring you are immediately deactivated, and all associated location data is deleted through cascading deletion.
Yes! You can use any display name you prefer in your profile. Combined with anonymous email options (or Apple's Hide My Email), you can maintain significant privacy while using the platform. Your display name is what other users see on your reports and profile.
All approved reports are public and visible to everyone using Gran360 (including website visitors). Your username appears on your reports. If you delete your account, reports remain but show 'Deleted User' instead of your username.
Go to Settings > Privacy to control: location sharing preferences, nearby alerts, push notifications, data sharing preferences, and visibility settings. You can adjust these anytime.
💳Subscriptions & Payments
Gran360 offers three tiers: FREE (basic features, one active GeoFence alert), PRO (multiple GeoFence alerts, priority support, advanced filters), and ELITE (unlimited GeoFence alerts, premium support, exclusive features, analytics). All plans include core safety features. Pricing is in Nigerian Naira (₦).
Tap Settings > Subscription > Choose Plan. Select Pro or Elite, choose monthly or annual billing, and complete payment. Subscriptions are processed securely through RevenueCat, which integrates with Apple App Store and Google Play. Upgrades take effect immediately.
All subscription payments are handled securely by RevenueCat, a PCI-compliant payment processor that integrates with Apple App Store and Google Play. We never store, access, or process your credit/debit card details. RevenueCat manages all payment information with bank-level security and encryption.
For one-time payments such as Missing Person Report Amplification, we use Paystack, a leading payment processor in Africa. Paystack is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant and we never store your card details. Payment methods include: credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), bank transfers, USSD, and mobile money.
Yes, anytime! Go to Settings > Subscription > Manage > Cancel, or manage through your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, you'll revert to the free tier. No refunds for partial months or unused portions.
Refunds are provided according to applicable platform policies (Apple, Google). Generally, no refunds for partial months. Since subscriptions are processed through RevenueCat/app stores, contact Apple or Google support directly for subscription refund requests. For Paystack payments (like amplification), contact us at support@rego360.com within 7 days of purchase.
Yes, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You'll receive a reminder notification before renewal. You can cancel anytime through the app or your device's app store subscription settings to prevent renewal.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase. The new price applies at your next renewal. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of new pricing.
🏆Gamification & Engagement
Earn points by: posting verified reports, marking reports as helpful, confirming incidents, engaging with the community, completing quizzes, and maintaining streak activity. Accumulate points to level up and unlock badges. Points are displayed on your profile.
No. Points, badges, and rewards have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged, sold, transferred, or redeemed for cash. They're designed to encourage community engagement and recognize active contributors. However, Mystery Box promotional events may offer prizes based on various eligibility factors.
Mystery Box is a promotional event where eligible users can win physical or virtual prizes (XP, airtime, data, etc.). Eligibility depends on factors like time on platform, XP points, level, subscription tier, and other criteria. Mystery Box may appear when you open the app during promotional periods. Participation is voluntary - you can choose 'Not Interested' to dismiss. Prizes have limited quantities and delivery may take up to 30 days.
All points, badges, levels, and achievements are forfeited permanently upon account deletion. This cannot be reversed.
Yes! The leaderboard is public and shows top participants in quizzes. You can view rankings by daily, weekly, monthly, or all-time scores. Only usernames (not personal information) appear on leaderboards. Compete with other users to improve your quiz performance and climb the rankings.
⚙️Technical Support
First, try these steps: (1) Close and restart the app, (2) Check your internet connection, (3) Update to the latest version, (4) Clear app cache (Settings > Storage), (5) Restart your device. If issues persist, contact support@rego360.com with details about the problem, your device type, and app version.
Check that: (1) Location services are enabled for Gran360, (2) You granted location permissions, (3) Your device has GPS signal, (4) You're connected to the internet. If issues persist, try toggling location services off and on, or reinstalling the app.
Verify: (1) Push notifications are enabled in device Settings > Gran360, (2) Notification preferences are enabled in app Settings > Notifications, (3) Do Not Disturb mode is off, (4) Battery optimization isn't blocking Gran360. On Android, ensure Gran360 has permission to run in the background.
On the login screen, tap 'Forgot Password,' enter your registered email, and check your inbox for reset instructions. The link expires in 24 hours. If you signed up with Google or Apple, use those services to log in (no password needed).
Yes! Log in with the same account on multiple devices. Your data syncs automatically. However, you can only be actively logged in on up to 5 devices simultaneously for security reasons.
Reports are evaluated by our automated system within minutes. Pending status may occur if: (1) The system detected potential policy violations requiring review, (2) Missing persons reports need verification, (3) Technical delays. Most reports are processed within 5-10 minutes. If pending for over 24 hours, contact support.
We love feedback! Go to Settings > Help & Feedback > Report a Bug or Suggest Feature. Alternatively, email support@rego360.com with detailed information. For bugs, include your device type, OS version, app version, and steps to reproduce the issue.
👥Community & Safety
Look for: (1) Reports marked 'Confirmed' by multiple users, (2) Recent timestamp and location details, (3) Photos or videos as evidence, (4) User's reputation score, (5) Similar reports in the area. Always cross-verify with official sources (police, news) before taking action. Never confront suspects alone.
Tap the three dots on the report and select 'Flag Report.' Choose the reason (false information, harmful content, spam, inappropriate, etc.) and provide details. Our team will review flagged reports and take appropriate action.
Yes. Go to a user's profile, tap the three dots, and select 'Block User' or 'Report User.' Blocking prevents them from seeing your activity or contacting you. Reporting allows you to specify violations (harassment, fake reports, etc.) for our team to review.
We take harassment seriously. Report any abusive behavior immediately. Penalties include: warnings, temporary suspension, permanent ban, and in severe cases, legal action. Victims of threats or violence should contact local police first.
Gran360 provides quick access to public emergency services: police (Nigeria Police), fire service, medical emergencies, gender-based violence hotlines, disaster response, and mental health support. DISCLAIMER: We don't verify these numbers' accuracy or guarantee response quality. Always verify with local authorities.
We comply with valid legal requests from Nigerian law enforcement. For missing persons cases or high-risk incidents, we may voluntarily cooperate with authorities to aid investigations. We will notify users unless prohibited by law. Read our Privacy Policy for details.
When you delete or block a GeoFence contact, Gran360 immediately: (1) Deactivates all active GeoFence alerts between you and that contact (both directions), (2) Deletes all real-time location data, (3) Removes monitored location entries, (4) Cancels all pending alert requests, (5) Nullifies coordinates in declined requests for privacy. This happens automatically through cascading deletion - you don't need to manually delete each alert. The action is logged for security (including your IP address and timestamp) to help detect unauthorized account access.

Yes! Gran360 operates in full compliance with Nigerian laws including the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR), Cybercrimes Act, and relevant telecommunications regulations. REGO360 Company Limited is a registered Nigerian company.
You have the right to: (1) Access your data, (2) Correct inaccurate information, (3) Delete your account, (4) Export your data, (5) Object to processing, (6) Withdraw consent. Contact support@rego360.com to exercise these rights. We respond within 14 business days.
No. Gran360 and REGO360 Company Limited are completely independent and not affiliated with the Federal Government of Nigeria, any of her security agencies (including police, military, DSS, etc.), state or local governments, or any local or foreign government entities. We are a private company. While we cooperate with law enforcement when legally required and support community safety, we are not a government agency, official police service, or affiliated with any governmental body.
No. Gran360 is for personal, non-commercial use only. Commercial use, including advertising, business promotion, or data mining, requires explicit written authorization. Unauthorized commercial use violates our Terms of Service and may result in legal action.
Violations may result in: content removal, account warnings, temporary suspension, permanent ban, legal action (for serious violations like defamation, fraud, or harassment), and cooperation with law enforcement. You're liable for any damages caused by your violations.
Yes, absolutely. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and consequences of your reports. Gran360 is not liable for false, defamatory, or illegal content posted by users. You must indemnify Gran360 against claims arising from your content.
📚Miscellaneous
Limited functionality. You can: view previously loaded reports, access saved/bookmarked reports, and trigger SOS alerts (queued until connection restored). You cannot: post new reports, view updated content, or use GeoFence tracking without internet.
Currently, Gran360 is available in English. We're working on adding support for major Nigerian languages including Yoruba, Igbo, and Hausa. Stay tuned for updates!
